Default Scavenge pump fixture loose

Hi all,
Whilst replacing my faulty ITP, I must have inadvertantly knocked the large white plastic bracket which possibly retains the scavenge pump in-tank.

Having failed miserably in trying to secure it, I refitted the ITP module and all is working again (at least for a bit).

Question, will the unsecured scavenge pump fixture cause me problems or can I just leave the way it is?

Thanks in advance - Andy
