Default cd changer problem

hi a not very technical newbie here who could do with some advice please, i have a ZT on a 03 plate, with a kenwood 6 cd changer (kdc-c469) the kenwood radio and cassette still works but when turn to cd comes up as turn off, i can not eject the cd's from the changer in the boot either, anyone got any ideas if a new unit is needed is ebay best?

Welcome along, sounds like the magazine may be jammed.

Doe steh changer make any sound at all.?

I assume that it's in the glove box, if so, drop the lower panel (2 quarter turn screws) and check it's connected.

no mate its in the boot so could be just loose conection

In that case you'll need to pull back the boot liner..
