Default Mini meet with Kbonney88

Kevin came through to my neck of the woods in Kirkcaldy, Fife for a catch up. Had some tea at the cafe in the local Sainsbury's before having a wonder about our cars. Spoke about Rover 75s of course. What else is there to talk about?! Kevin also gave me some pointers and sound advise about my car and my newly aquired V6.

We hope to make this meet a regular fixture in Fife going forward and would love for others to attend in future and make it a regular thing.

Couple of pictures with the phone of our two lovely 75s together.

Nothing wrong with the Contours! Unions are a good choice also, however

Well I will have to agree with that, as the Contours were my winter wheels until Kev bought the Classic with steel wheels and cheap hub caps

While better than steel wheels, they are not as nice as the Unions will be

Some scroat thought that Mrs MB's chrome mirror would complement the toe of their shoe last week in a car park, there are some knackers about

Definitely not a sight you want to be greeted by, a smashed door mirror hanging by the electrical connections

No very annoying. Should add that one of mine requires a small repair for the same reason

That happened to me once. I was parked up in my 220 coupe turbo and a driver went past taking half my mirror off with it. I started the car and off I went chasing her down the street flashing my lights and beeping at her. She stopped. Poor girl was petrified. Must of been about 18-19. I felt bad for her but what else could I do?
I got £100 off her for the damage to the mirror and the scratches it caused yo the door. Result.

Thanks Ravinder - was good to catch up and talk 75's.. and look forward to the seafront chippy meet next month?

And.... I may be tempted with those Chrome mirrors Anna.. I am sure they will look fab.. not really thought about them before to be honest..

and defo to the unions Bri - will be round asap for "our" mini meet..... to pick them up, and I do think the Unions will compliment my Snotty Supertallic Green 75.. hehehe...

And I am on cake duty this time Bri...
