That's why Toots has offered to be a go between, for those that are not registered, date set for 24th May

Folks,

I organised one a few years back on XPF which was extremely enjoyable. I have so far failed to organise one on BCF. So.................

What do people reckon on a day out at Duxford? I was thinking of sometime in May - preferably on a Saturday and not clashing with any BTCC - where we could incorporate a picnic into it. I'm not sure whether they still offer it but they used to do discount on group bookings.

If we get sufficient interest (20 plus) then I'll make enwuiries to see if I can buy tickets in advance. That we we won't all have to meet up at the same time to get in but can meet up at an agreed time for the picnic. At the end of the day we could pop to the local for dinner (Red Lion).

Views and comments please!

Provisional List:
Jerry Zedman (2 adults, 2 children)
GT (1 adult?)
Tootall and Emma (2 adults, 1 child)
Tony and Dawn (2 adults, 1 child?)
ZS (1 adult?)
Matt and Chris (2 adults, 2 children)
MaddAussie (2 adults?)
Grey Ghost (providing no clash with club meets)

Is the new hangar exhibition open at Duxford yet? If so I'd love another trip around Duxford - I'm a bit of an 'aviation enthusiast'....

and I floated the 'meet up at Sunny Hunny' idea with SWMBO at lunch today - she didn't seem to raise any objection which I interpret as carte blanche "we'll be there"! I think there could be a read-accross to Duxford too.

just name the dates! (but not 3-10 May as we're on our hols)

Thanks to who ever moved these posts to its own thread.

As you can see we now have a date set for the 24th May, we also have members from differents clubs posting so we should have few different cars turning up so if you would like to come please say so on this thread and i will update the list over on Brit-Cars.
Many thanks to GG for letting me post about this meet-up on the forum.
