The Holte is a great venue as plenty of room on the fenced off car park for our cars, and pub has been completely refurbished inside at considerable cost.

It is also close to the motorway network and members who have attended the 2 previous meets did like the venue.

There is also a patio area, which may be too cold at the minute but will be great in the summer.

As far as booking is concerned, the pub is very relaxed about this i will book a table(s) for the numbers coming and those who want to eat on the day can and those who dont want to are not committed to anything.

I work right in the centre of Telford for HMRC

I am booking the usual venue at Villa Park for Sunday 30 March so put date in your diaries.

Usual agenda is drink and getting to know each other in the bar, followed by a look at the cars plus photos, and then those that want to eat can, those that dont want to are under no obligation.

Meet at 1.30 in the bar, table for meal for those that want it booked at 3pm, but venue are flexible around times and last time kept our table open way after the booked time.

I am waiting for Villa to phone me back and will post confirmation soon.

Hi trebor dont know if you up for this but at some time later on could'nt the midlands and yorks meet get together some time for a joint meet just an idea.

Sounds good to me, the more cars and members the merrier, we have been getting around half a dozen, what about your meets ?

We have been getting between 12 and 20 cars and the venue is good cafe lake and shop the food is very good and well priced.

How often do you meet ? Maybe we could do one up there and one down here, maybe every quarter/6 months ? Alternative would be to find a neutral venue about half way
