air in diesel filter and turbo noise.
just wondering if anyone else had had any trouble with air getting into the diesel sytem. can I find where its coming from? Wondered if there was anything common.
Also, does anyone else have a cdt that has quite a noisy turbo? It really does whistle on acceleration. No loss of performance but annoying never the less. By the way, the service light reset trick with pin 4 and 8 doesnt work on mine! Last edited by GreyGhost; 20th March 2008 at 17:25.. |

If you get a loud 'whistle' when accellerating it usually means there is a split in one of the air intake pipes.
