Forget what I've typed.....it's probably got the same filter as the MGR one.
The other end of the pipe is probably high level in the engine bay.

Well, I did the chop job today:
The intake looks OEM once refitted. I'm going for a long drive tomorrow, so I will have a good idea tomorrow evening if it make a difference.

The induction should probably compensate for that. It will just suck more air in I'd imagine? Just like on a vacuum cleaner where you can open a vent on the handle or thereabouts. Or so Mrs G tells me.
