Here you go..... I suspect if you want to save a bit of money, go to a land rover dealer...

Many thanks chaps, I have ordered the LR unit off ebay and that I think there are 81 items left. ( Pt No.Landrover 8510298 )
Can this item be high lighted on the site for all visitors? I find no service reqs for this item and a filter is a filter for some reason!!. Item came on Saturday and fitting took 1 hr. I had to remove engine cover and filter box cover. Item was plain to see, remove glowplug wiring to one side and altered the fuel pipes to allow access. No problems to remove and its date was Marked as 99 and it was the same as THREAD ONE. New item marked aug 07(Made in Czech) Thanks to Armstrong Massey the LR agents for their quick service. Car is even more responsive now with the Air mod II Last edited by comet; 24th March 2008 at 09:34.. Reason: UPDATE AND CONCLUSION |

Ok, I've got to ask as I'm a little bemused by this as it was never spoken about at MGR, well, not that I know of anyway.
Where does it live, what does it do and who found it?????????????? Nic

Take off the top cover and in front of you are a series of cables going left to right for the glow plugs. Under this is in the middle is the Filter housing (PCV). See pics earlier thread.
