Evening all, Well the weather ended up being kind & cleared up after dinner & we got the new window in, Had to leave putting the widow box up & cementing in the two bricks where the 'Strong boys' were until tomorrow as I'm done for.

I'm going for a long soak in a hot bath then it's a 'ping meal' for tea! Beef stroganoff and rice.

Cool

Finally got to see the doctor. Had a nice long chat, he was very surprised that my tablets had caused the reaction I had a week ago. Anyway he has given me a new course to take.
He also had a look at my foot and said it was healing up nicely.

My house was done years ago, as were all the council owned properties at the time.

I have since purchased it and have often wondered if it was done to a decent standard.

Last year those same council properties were treated to an external insulation system from Permarock. Why they'd need it I couldn't fathom at the time.

Not the prettiest of solutions, making the doors and windows indented as they remained in the original locations.

Good morning Bob, well done for getting your appointment sorted. Hopefully the new tablets will do the trick and you wil be back in good time, to rude health

We are now in the rainy season, 2 months of continuous rains, nice for the farmers and gardeners. Last night we had 3 inches. Parts of the city of Nairobi are flooded, not everyone welcomes the rains. Have a great day!

Morning Phil, plenty of rain overnight here as well but nothing on the scale your having. The weather is constantly rubbish in this country but you appear to go from one extreme to the other

Morning peeps.............I wonder who will see more snow this weekend when the Beast of the East Mk2 arrives

Going to be another busy day on the road today.
The trains between Clacton and Colchester didn't run yesterday because of a landslip and will be no service today either. The upshot of that was the roads were much busier than usual
