Oil types? For older 75s or ZTs
I have no idea of the different types of oil.
My 75 is nearly 9 years old, should i change the grade of oil? a car that is not far from becoming a classic... I have 5 litres of 10/40 left. But I have 12x1 litres of 0/30. Is the 0/30 any good, or will it make my 75 smoke like an Indian smoke signal... Surely as cars get older due to increase of mileage the oil grade will change. Am I right in thinking this is what other owners are thinking about. |

I would stick to the oil grade recommended. We put the same oil in cars at work that have done 5,000 miles and 200,000 miles. (Providing it is the oil recommended, which it is.) I am doing my 75's 75K service tomorrow inc front discs and pads and I fully intend to use the same oil for as long as I own the car.

Stick with 10W 40 semi synthetic unless you want to fully synthetic 0W 40 either of these is recommended.
