Default New Fan From Rimmers

Hi,
Is the 2 speed fan just plug and play in a 2001 V6?
If I purchase do I need to do any modifications or resistors?
I tried fixing my own but not successful, I’ll just bite the bullet and get a new one. But

The new 2 speed fan is plug & play, fitted one on Saturday for a local owner. The resistor supplied with these new fans is considered underrated and at risk of burning out, a gold resistor is considered to be a good replacement.

One thing I don't like is the blade mounting on these, a press fit. Mine came flying off and is now superglued in place, unheard of according to the seller.

No screws/bolts for mounting the resistor are supplied, get the smallest machine screws/bolts you can find from your local hardware store.

However if you butcher your new fan it might invalidate your guarantee, so fit it as it is but buy a gold type just incase (DMGRS have them).

Good luck

PS If you want to save £100 look at ebay, same fans but a much lower price
