As has been said above, by those more experienced than me, the pad wear sensor is about as much use as a chocolate fire guard. If you're interested in doing things properly, you should be visually inspecting your brake linings on a regular basis.

Done a bit of polishing & waxed the gold saloon. Ahhh, all good for another year.😬
Silver will have to wait....until springtime probably. 🙄 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Washed, polished, and sealed. Polished with the usual Autoglym. Sealed with some Bilt- Hamber special stuff my son bought me for Christmas. Seems to put a nice ‘slide’ on the paintwork when you run the back of your finger along the paintwork. Good stuff, but will have to see long term.

Pulled the gearbox out, removed the clutch, then headed over to my friend's workshop to borrow his engine support beam, as I didn't fancy removing the flywheel bolts with the engine sitting on a trolley jack and block of wood.
So tomorrow will see the new DMF and clutch fitted, and the gearbox back into the car..........and then we will see how good the aftersales service is in regards to the sub 1000 mile clutch I've just taken out. It could be worse, I could be paying for labour Brian |

Dug out the tin snips and the grinder to cut some stainless sheet ready for the fuel tank strap fabrication, mine are in quite good order tbh but no harm in doing a bit of 'future proofing' eh!

It was! I checked Shadomobile's ZT this afternoon, the rear arms and springs are new, unfortunately the rear shocks have more leaks than Max Boyce!
