What exactly did you get turbo_billy?

I washed it, but had to park it under a tree. 5 cars next to each other, and mine has 5 bird droppings on it already. The other unwashed cars have nothing.....

I am still suspicious about the coolant - if I am losing any, it's only a little, but sometimes when I start or stop the car I can smell coolant - I have a feeling there's still a leak somewhere, but temp (on the IPK) is normal, touch wood. Worth keeping an eye on the thermostat housing too.

Great day here, wall to wall sunshine so I just thought I would go and see if the Saloon would start, it has not been run for a few weeks, can`t remember when it were last out but it was only a 20 mile run in last 3 months and since then started once just after the first bitter frost we had a while back.
Much to my supprise it started first turn, so I am leaving it running for an hour with rear screen heater off.
I just love the AA solar trickle charger that I am using in it as it`s stood out there in the open.

I think I found out why the Battery went flat, (in reference to earlier posts) On removing the Sub to check the boot I noticed that the thin blue wire which turns the Amp on and off had come adrift from the connection - so I think my Amp had been on for all that time. No wonder it was flat!!!

At least it didn't harm the Amp, it still fine...

Repaired the tourer rear light housing (aluminium & araldite) and used a nut and a piece of 6mm studding with screwdriver slot in one end in the socket that had worked loose, just incase it spins next time.

But - dropped the one remaining screw inside the bumper or somewhere, so now held on with the stud mentioned and one ball / socket.

Waiting for my third 75 to be delivered!

Fitted lower suspension arm, both spring protectors, the car is now ready for an MOT which I've booked Friday morning, fingers crossed for a pass

Did school run in increasingly aerodynamically unstable 75. Drove to Rover Link in Widnes to leave in Colin's expert hands. Walked to Widnes station. Three trains and two hours later got home. Call from Colin - "it's done". Reverse of above journey. Drove home in now-behaving-perfectly 75 with enormous grin on phyzzog. So THIS is what these gorgeous cars are supposed to handle like! Ahhh...that's better...

Sorry - just editing! Lower front bushes. Transformed the ride (it's the seven or eight miles I've walked today that have made me lose it a bit...sorry)

Fitted Mk1 Chrome Mirrors, repaired the balance vis motor, emptied oil catch tank, repaired drivers door handle, fitted new horns, washed * pointless as filthy again *
