Good morning fellow sun worshippers - bright and sunny, but more importantly, the temperature has risen by a fair few degrees and the cold North Easterly wind seems to have abated. We're awaiting family (son & daughter too) deliveries of various prescriptions and a few other bits'n'bobs.
I'm getting perilously close to letting SWMBO loose on my hair with an electric hair trimmer. The question is - which comb - a number 1 or a number 4 ? Maybe the answer is "the one which will do less damage to my jugular " Quote:

Morning all, bright ,dry, and warm this morning. A bit of diy to do today, the banister keeps coming off the wall and I have filled in the hole many times, but it just works itself loose again. So this time I ripped all the filler out, filled the hole with cement, need to sand down a bit and put some finishing plaster on before I re drill the holes for the ralwlplugs..
Ps Andy the programme was called “Dogs With Extraordinary Jobs”

I had to do more or less the same job Rich, Missus pulled it off the wall A few sherries too many I reckon It didn't pull the screws & rawlplugs out! Every screw head snapped off leaving the screw body in the wall They were such a pig to get out I ended up grinding them off with the grinder & Plastering over them. I moved the bannister two inches to fresh brickwork.

What makes me think that when (if?) we get to the end of the coronavirus, all car owners are going to get a right caning in terms of taxation and restrictions/regfulations on driving?
See paragraphs 4, 5, & 6 of this article:- https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tees-52386582 Think I'll start looking for a cave in the hills now before there's a rush to go back to One Million Years B.C. - as long as I can take Raquel Welsh with me On a different tack - I do not believe it ! On Sunday, my nutty next door neighbour was out washing and polishing his car (including a buff up with an electric polisher). Today - he's used a pressure washer, with the gun about 6" away from his paintwork, to wash it - despite the fact the car hasn't moved since Sunday !!!!!!!!!!!!
