For our first night in the UK, we stayed in a Hilton Hotel for a treat. Today they sent me a questionnaire and review which I completed. Here is a copy and paste from my review which hopefully will improve their service.

“At check-in, another customer with children was complaining about everything to the duty manager who was on his own, so we had a long wait until he was free to deal with us and when he did, he kept on breaking stinky wind. I had to tell him to go get himself a toilet break. There were a lot of children running up and down the corridors, so check-in was chaotic and stinky from the duty manager ripping off stinky’s. I was disappointed there were no sandwiches on offer for room service or for the bar snack service. We settled for sharing one burger between the 2 of us at £18, which was expensive. Whilst we there, a wedding party was going on and the doors leading from the bar into the garden were open which allowed the pungent smell of tobacco from the smokers smoking in the garden to waft in. from which the smell made me feel sick and want to throw up. Breakfast - Once we got it, it was okay but queuing up was like being back at school. The poor staff were rushed off their feet. On the plus side, the bedroom was ultra clean and the bed linen was of premium quality. I liked the instant hot water from the shower which had a strong flow. I saw a dog coming from one of the rooms in the hotel but there were no signs of dog hairs in the bed which was pleasing.”

There is a lot to be said about home comforts
Think I'll stick to 'Premier Inn' going by your experience there Phil

Afternoon all, just had the 75 on a little run to the car wash, it really isn't suitable for the Devon roads, I'm sure I've gathered another knock due to the state of the roads.

Cool

Afternoon everyone from sunny, but a chill in the breeze, Cornwall.

Very productive day. 2 lots of washing done, hung out on the whirly thingy, dried and now put away.
Banana cleaned.

Been shopping for clothes.

Roast chicken, spuds and broccoli for tea.

Might have a couple of Henry’s later.

Morning all, a beautiful day down here, anyone attending this weekends torquay airshow is in for a great one.

I'll be outside playing with the tractor hoping to spot some fly pasts.
