Cool

Morning everyone from blustery and damp Warwickshire.

All set to rock and roll to Stoneleigh once my friend has finished putting on her make-up.

Morning all,

'Tis a windy old day out there today so please be careful if you are venturing out.
I'm off to Colchester working this morning.
I shall be taking it steady on the roads as it isn't looking nice

Catch you all later....

Morning all, Storm Ciara? Pah!, storm in a teacup more like. We had some heavy rain and strong wind last night, and it’s gusty with light rain showers this morning, but not stormy. I suppose there’s time yet. I’m working at lunchtime, then taking my van for a valuation at We Buy Any Car, so wish me luck that I get a half decent offer for it.

Morning all, tis very wild & wet out there, It's been driving the rain against the south west wall since early hours & we have pools of water in the living room under the window & under the kitchen window I'm glad I put all the garden stuff away in the garage yesterday.

I can see gaps in fence lines across the back where panels have been blown out.

Well, it seems to be calming down a little here. The winds got up around 10.00pm last night and were howling until about 9.30 this morning. There's a few panels of fencing standing at a strange angle but nothing actually flattened - no sign of any ridge tiles missing in the locality either - I suspect we may have got off likely again

Afternoon all, a tad blowy here today, had a short walk with the dogs due to the force of the wind, had to go to McDonald’s for coffee this morning as we are in the middle of a power cut at the moment, also the roof looks a little worse for wear!

Afternoon all, well the gales & rain abated for a few hours but they're back just as strong as ever again
It's hammering it down again, there are a few local roads flooded as well as my front lawn

There must be some really bad mortar joints as the rain with these very strong winds has been pouring into the house on the back wall More money I don't have for repairs.

I've used all our towels for mopping up

I made a chicken casserole f or tea to take my mind off bleddy Ciara

We have headed to the pub, still no power on and no update as to when it will be repaired.

Ahh well, worse places to be...
