I took those photos Jeff 8 years ago. The top photo of the hot springs, was shot with an iPhone 3GS at 3mp. You can see the loss of definition in the background.

8 years ago Jeff, what were you doing? 8 years ago, what were any of us doing?

That year the house on the mountain in South African had burnt down in a wild bushfire, we lost the farm and we lost everything there. It took us 3 years to rebuild. We had to fight the insurance company and the robbers/looters who came at us night and day. Some of the locals told us to clear out of South Africa. But we resisted and stayed. Mixed emotions of anger, resentment and feelings of triumph. These experiences are supposed to make us stronger.

Getting back to the photos, we were on tour for 3 weeks, staying in lodges and camping in a tent, an escape back to nature, maybe you feel the same on the boat
