It looks plain silly with that mismatched dash and wheel.

as for SE v Non Se there is another option a stripped out SE then keep the bits only for later resale!

My car is currently nearly 100KG lighter with all the stuff I have removed for the bodywork and the sound with the rear seats removed etc is fanastic

I am sorely tempted to strip it all out and just have a driver seat
I reckon there is another 100 -150KG that could come out.
Weight watchers maybe able to help you with another 3 stone or so....

I've been wondering about reducing unnecessary weight too.
What have you taken out so far and what did it weigh?
Unfortunately with the SE I believe a lot of the extra weight is in the sunroof isn't it?

According to the official number the weight is between 1680 - 1770 kg

So maximum weight difference between low spec or SE would be 90 kg max.

Just wonder of it makes that much of a difference

The difference between a 75 saloon & tourer is approx 64kg's.
I can "feel" the difference between the 2!

BTW my Twilight 260 is up for sale (only 19k from new)

Tourer vs. saloon = apple vs. pear.

Balance, weight distribution etc.

Looking for 'like for like'

White V8, would be interesting to see that one. Was it around at the time when white was 'trendy' for a while...

Jules - what kind of second mortgage would one need to gain possession of the keys to the chromatic V8?!?

After a good number of V8s for sale there seems to be relatively fewer at the minute... This one has appeared. Not sure how early a vin would be for a late November 2003 car to make it special?

PS. Did the white one get advertised anywhere?
