Quite a productive day in the snow today
On the CDT: Removed & cleaned the inlet manifold and EGR valve. Fitted a new MAP sensor, and a full set of new rubber seals. Car is now starting and running sweet as a nut Soldered a new switch into my spare remote for the CDT so I can now lock and unlock it with the spare keys Started putting together a VIS motor tester for the MG |

Repairs the IPK. It's been bugging me since I bought that car 2 years ago and it's been getting worse. I was down to 20 vertical line visible: now I have just 4 line missing. Well pleased.

Today I cleaned the windows, filled the windscreen washer bottle, put 32 front and 30 rear in tyres (both rear tyres were below 20 )
Also had the engine oil changed. |

I fitted similar hub bearing to my MGZT last March and still going strong no problem from the start, mine never had any Chinese writing stamped on it though just a number ( PCH2161W ) in one part and ( 017.5) opposite, I have fitted a few of thee since then and all are performing well. Few pics below I wonder if mine are made here and o f better quality ? mine were not bought from your seller though, they also have the choice of two nuts and sizes.

I can't do much myself yet, but I've just had the headlights sorted as they were hazy, and I've got a foglight and a few other bits on the way for later. Also got a nice new grille badge to go on. Lots more on my list, though!

I changed the front wheel bearing. NRG made in UK, looks nice. First time I found this brand Maybe you in the UK know it better. Few pictures with it.

Just been reading a bit on here, remembered something about a "shannon tube" on the petrols, checked Jules thread, then checked the car (I know, I really shouldn't bend down that far right now, but luckily no engine tray fitted) and OMG no tube at all.
So, another job today - I've ordered one of Jules uprated ones! This is going to be a bionic car at this rate. |

Washed, waxed, cleaned inside within an inch of it's life (I have issues, OK...)
Put in for it's MOT and came out clean as a whistle |
