Carpet cleaned, car washed (by our Eastern European friends).
Now the rest of the day will be filled with photo editing and ironing..........in front of the TV

Bored! Confined to barracks, road is closed due to the Edinburgh half marathon. Its the EDINBURGH half marathon, keep it in bleedin' Edinburgh instead of inconveniencing us down in East Lothian.

Evening all, It's been a grey ol day with spits & starts of rain. Just scoffed a roast chicken dinner & now it's feet up with a beer to watch Thunderbirds.

Well that's me about gardened out. The lawns are still a bit on the damp side, but I decided that I needed to get them trimmed before they turned into the Brazilian Pampas. I was then 'told' that I also had to clip the edges - and then I thought I'd give the lawnmower a good clean before (hopefully) putting it away for the Winter - worn out I am
However, to brighten an otherwise grey day - a neighbour came over and asked if I could eat half a corned beef & onion pie. His daughter had made a huge one far too big ffor him and her to eat. I thought about it (for about one tenth of a millisecond) - and then said "whey eye man"
I think the missus is having cheese and biscuits
