Lazy Venting - Alarm Issue - Help needed
My car is T4 enabled to open the windows and sunroof with a twist of the the key in the drivers door lock, and i also have a transmitter fob that does the same thing which a few other mebers also have following Raistlins excellent mod.
My issue with the alarm is simply this, when opening the windows/sunroof ( either with key or fob ) it does not disable the alarm. At first i thought that this was good security as even with the windows open the alarm would sound if someone reached into the car. However the alarm always sounds whenever the windows have been open for a few seconds, even without anyone reaching into the car, so it ruins this great mod for me. Any ideas ?

I haven't done the mod yet Rob, but my alarm also goes off when I use the key to open/close the windows.
I now always use the fob to disarm the car before I open the windows and I unlock/relock the car again after I use the key to close the windows. Does this make sense?

I think it's as I said Rob,
You have to unlock using the OEM remote before using lazy vent. |
