Default boot light ipk lcd

Hello good afternoon,
I'm from Portugal,
I have an MG ZT saloon and I have a problem closing the boot lid.
I can lock and unlock with the remote control key, I can open the case with the key and with the electric handle inside, but the problem is that when the case is open, the warning of the open case does not appear on the ipk lcd and does not turn on the light inside the suitcase, can someone help?

Best regards

Amancio Sousa

So your boot lamp is not coming on and you are not getting the IPK warning light. I assume you will have checked the bulb - pop another one in and see if that works.

If you have already replace the bulb than i would do the following.

On the right hand side with the boot open you will see the rubber wiring sleeve give them them a wiggle and if your light comes on this will point to a wiring issue.

The boot lamp/light switch is actually in the boot lock itself - so give it a good spray with WD 40 to drive out any moisture that may be compromising the lamp switch._____________
