I stuck some sliced Polish sausage in mine.
Also made a corned beef & tater pie too

Nah.....Not guilty.

I've been home enjoying unbroken sunshine, cooking, F1 and football all day

Speaking of cooking......Looking good Ian

Well done on all your hard work Richard. It must be a bit of an emotional rollercoaster getting this done. I'm sure you will feel relieved and a sense of closure once its all done.

Morning all,

A cloudier start to the day here with rain forecast for this afternoon......Had to happen on a Bank Holiday !

I've bought various colour paper seamless background rolls and a three tier background bracket/pulley system. Might have a go at installing that in the studio today/tomorrow.

What has everyone got planned for today, anything nice ?

To think.....We are doing it all again next week

Good morning Steve, how really very kind of you. The farm has been in the family since the 1930’s. Jessica’s cousin owns most of the vines and we own the rest which doesn’t have any vines growing on it, but it does have 2 houses which are rented out. The rent is reinvested to maintain the houses and the upkeep of the mountain and it’s roads. There is always something to do and see here.

The snakes and spiders - we are careful. If we see them, we keep away.

Yesterday, we organised one of the tractors to dig a trench to make a drain in order to divert water, channelling it away from the farm track. When it rains, it’s like a river running down from the mountain washing the road away.

This week the weather is nice, 20’s and blue skies.

A recent bush fire nearly burnt the house down and the fire brigade had to cut down our electric fence to gain access. They left their burnt fire hoses behind and we have been repairing the damage.

Overseeing the workers and repairs, keeps us busy. You know what it is like being retired.

Have a great one, what are your plans for the day?

Good morning Jeff, as usual you never disappoint with the photos of the cats and so please do keep entertaining us with what they get up to.

One of the tenants here has a Staffordshire called….Tyson!

He is delightful in temperament but is inclined to be mischievous, fortunately there are no cats for him to chase.

What are your plans for the day?

Good morning Ian, thank you for those kind words. Yes it’s beautiful here, but some of local criminal element can be violent. I guess it can happen anywhere. On the farm it’s safe from all of that.

I was sorry to read about your difficulties in arranging a PSA blood test. I wish the authorities would bend over backwards to get you the test as it’s so vital in monitoring your progress. If only they also realised this, it would help.

Do take care and keep tantalising our tastebuds with those fantastic culinary delights…..yum yum

Morning Phil,

He looks like a big ball of mischief indeed

This morning Ros and I are putting up a small garden tool store/shed thingy for our neighbour. It's just a flat pack wooden job so hopefully will go together without much problem.

I'm going to pop and see my Mum at some point today and possibly make a start on installing the brackets for the seamless paper backdrops in the studio.

No cooking to do today, plenty left over from yesterday.....Although, I might make some garlic bread to go with it

How about you Phil?
