Default LWB 75 Left Hand Drive Wanted

Is there any LWB 75's with Left Hand Drive?

I know someone who wants one in the USA. Dunno Why?

Must be Auto - 2.5L or Diesel In reasonable condition.

Weren't they all 2.5 anyway? Seems an odd request. Out of the 80-100 made, how many were actually LHD?

Even if you could find one it would have to be 25 years old to be legally imported into the USA

Nope, the Vanden Plas / LWB was available with either the 2.5 Litre KV6 or the 2.0 M47R Diesel. There is / was a prototype with a V8 in it, however I believe this has since been crushed. There are a few LHD ones, as I seem to remember Reebs posting some rather lovely pics of a Dark Fantasy one.

SMC in Slough tried to buy it just after the MGR collapse and the administrators said no, I saw it up close at Longbridge when I visited the site in summer 09 and I believe it lasted about a year after that. Although I did read somewhere that someone thought they saw it running about with the reg. MG04 NAC on it.

A friend in the US has a body shop where they restore classics. I think this was a request to see if there is one available, Looks like it maybe a long-shot.

Apparently they just took delivery of a Bentley they are restoring with only 25K on the clock.

I have seen some pictures of some really fantastic work of there's so they are not a back street bunch. My guess some Englishman over there fancies a LWB 75.

If they are cheap enough it could be a goer.

The 75 Vanden Plas was completed by MacNeillie & Sons Ltd and was officially offered with just the 2.5-litre KV6 engine. They completed the last examples of the 4-door long-wheelbase Vanden Plas in Spring 2004. Conversion of the hearse and six-door limousine built on a longer wheelbase platform continued, however.

When the long-wheelbase 75 was then produced at Longbridge from the late spring of 2004 and marketed as the Limousine, it was offered with either the 2.5-litre engine or 2-litre M47R turbo-diesel engine.
