Default Rover 75 LWB Rear O/S Chrome Trim

Hello everybody. It’s been a while since I’ve been on the forum but I’ve not been idle - Glad to say. Hopefully I’ll update you all of the progress on my V8 project shortly. However in the meantime I’ve acquired a Rover 75 LWB (four door). The problem is it’s missing the chrome/rubber trim that goes at the bottom of the window on the o/s rear door, to clear the window. The part number is dde000700mmm. Does anybody know where I can get one these please. Many thanks. Michael

What a shame it's not the other side you need........I mean look at the extortionate price

LINK

It may be worth trying Allcarpartsfast..........LINK

Failing that, I wonder if it might be possible to make one from a standard saloon rear and front jointed carefully

Hi Andy. It’s at the Garage at the moment but will upload pics as soon as I can. See you soon. Michael

Hi Brian. Thanks for your reply. I’ve thought about your idea and think it’s a possibility although it’s well beyond my skill set. Still an option though. Michael

probably the diesel one that was on ebay a month ago? I remember window strip was missing. I was interested in it, so would be keen to see the progress of restoring it :-)

Hi. Yep spot on. I got it from Liverpool. I’ve had a “health check” done on the car by a local garage. As expected some points need addressing but generally most of the work is cosmetic with the exception of a fuel leak under the engine and possible other leaks which can’t be diagnosed until the fuel leak is rectified and the engine is cleaned. In addition a small amount of sill welding. Wonder how it just passed its MOT?
