Battery drain
I find if I leave my car for several days, the battery drops below level that can start the car - any ideas on how to find the offending item that is doing it!? Or is it off to the auto electricians?

I had something similar happen to my V6 Tourer. Turned out to be the factory fitted audio draining the battery. Maybe next time you leave car for a few days remove the audio fuse (no 33) from the fuse box under glovebox in car and see if that stops it draining.
To find what was draining my battery I ended up removing battery + lead and connecting multimeter set on amps between battery + and the disconnected battery lead. Think I had something like 3 amp drain until I removed audio fuse 33 then drain went back to normal. Think the factory sat nav drive unit is sometimes the culprit causing the drain |

Do you know the state of charge of your battery to begin with ??
If there is not enough power to start the car then your battery will need at least 24 hours on a charger to get it into a reasonable state to start problem solving. |
