Stainless fasteners
Just a bit of info for anyone that's interested really.
Just by sheer luck I found a tool supplier just outside of Canterbury today called ... Invictor tools and fixings, curiosity got the better of me so I popped in, they sell the usual kind of stuff for garages and repair shops etc, the thing that interested me was ... they sell every conceivable size allen screw / nuts / bolts / washers etc in stainless steel, so while I was there I borrowed a tool to remove the bolts that fasten the front of the air filter to the slam panel and bought 3 identical size bolts and washers in T304 stainless steel for the princely sum of ... £1.20 !! result eh! I shall be paying them another visit with a list as long as my arm for all the under bonnet fixings and whatever else I can find. |

You cant beat a helpful fastener supplier, I will have to locate one in Norfolk, I miss the one we used in Lincolnshire.

They also said all I had to do was either bring the car in or just the fixings and they would supply the bits 'like for like' while I waited. How good is that! |

Hi, excellent find!
It would be good to make a list of all the relevant bolts etc that you replace (inc model of your car) and prices for other members to order from them - if ththat company do mail order at all? Just a thought - many folk on here would like to upgrade some of the rustier bolts etc now I would think!? thanks. Chris

Maybe a 'complete bolt kit' for certain areas of the car like ... engine dress up, cam covers and the like. |

If you want the sizes for the bolts for the engine bay then have a look at one of my older threads https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...6&postcount=47 Stu |
