Seat memory problem

Hi all have a bit of issue with the seat memory on my seat was doing a bit of work on the car yesterday changing the roof lining so disconnected the battery but when I ReConnected the battery I pressed the memory setting on the seat to return it back to my normal driving position and nothing happened seat still moves on the electric controls as normal pressing the m and the number gives the save Bing but still when you press any of the 3 presets seat does nothing anyone got any ideas

checked all the fuses and I mean the whole fuse box and everything was fine

so if you push M&1 then move the seat away, and push 1 again it does not move back...??

Correct
Press m and 1 get the beep move the seat position then press 1 and nothing happens

what work were you doing on the car..?

Was changing the headlining but have curtain airbags so as a precaution disconnected the the battery
