Sigh. Yes, I am footing the bill

Yes, I think they broke it. And I dunno why they were mucking about with it in the first place.

Jules, my rad fan is u/s. Would you recommend a replacement OE item or a Kenlowe? I'll order one from you if you can deliver directly to the garage?

Cheers

Both types reliable Rob but................
Kenlowe is only recommended for DIYers as it takes half to and hour longer to fit than the MGR motor, which cancels out the £45 cheaper price for it if a Garage is fitting it!!

Default injectors

ROB, do not let the garage tell you that you need new injectors, they can send the whole set to Lynx Diesels [email protected] and have them completely rebuilt and balanced for £330 all in.

Okay, thanks for that Jules - I'll go with the MGR item then. I'll drop you a line tomorrow when I get confirmation that the fan on the car is u/s

That's useful to know - hopefully I'll get that opportunity once I have more information from the garage later in the week, cheers!

Rob.. As the garage did NOT get your permission to go ahead before removing the cylinder head, I think you have a good case for refusing to pay for that part of the work.

I also think it's pretty obvious that that garage does not have a mechanic that specialises in the 75 ZT diesel... (or any diesel for that matter)..

However.. If you enter into a dispute, you may tie your car up untill an agreement is reached...
