Default Drop link confusion.. which is on incorrectly ??

Just fitted this drop link which I think is correct (thanks to Artics How to)

The first one is correct. Undo the left one at the ARB and rotate it around the other way.

I think both will 'work' but one side would be slightly 'tighter' than the other but will wear out quicker.

Not sure if it's the photo but is your strut bent inwards on the outside?

No need to do this, they are ball joints, not rubber bushes.

The strut is pressed in during manufacture to allow clearance for the tyre.
