Default Rear Number Plate Lamps - Various bits and pieces, repairs kits etc available

Hello guys and girls,
We've recently bought a consignment of Rear Number Plate Lamp parts, and are offering a selection of repair kits, components and complete lamp assemblies.

Previously, only the complete assembly was available - a shame, as the fault is usually the PCB or the connection between the PCB and connectors corroding. The housing is normally perfectly fine, and OK to re use.

Based on this, I've decided to offer a number of options:
- PCB Kits: including all connectors and supplied ready to fit. Available with brand new, OE bulbs for an extra £2.00.
- Complete Assembly, less lenses and gaskets: We don't have the gaskets for the lenses available, so you'll need to re-use your own. At under half the price of a new unit from XPart, these are fantastic value. Includes 2x new OE bulbs.
- Lenses (Pair) : A pair of brand new lenses for the assembly, excluding gaskets. Ideal if yours are yellowed or cracked with age.
- Bulbs (Pair) : OE bulbs, as fitted from the factory. Cheap bulbs don't tend to last well in these, so enjoy the OE lifespan with these for £2.00 per pair.

See all options and pricing here:
Rover 75 / MG ZT Rear Numberplate Lamp Assembly - XFC000220MMM / XFC000011MMM / XFC000010

I really hope this helps members escape the rather expensive complete items, without having to bridge theirs with bits of wire.

*ALL PARTS ABOVE ARE SALOON ONLY, BOTH R75 and MG ZT*

We've just had some more PCBs made up - they've been unavailable for a few days.

Thanks again for the orders so far.

Just had a lot more PCBs for these made up - definitely the quickest and cheapest way to repair a dodgy number plate lamp!

Grab 'em while they're hot (but use gloves...)

Just a quick update - we've revised the design to use miniature nuts and bolts - we selected stainless items to make sure there's no corrosion issues etc.

These give tighter clamping of the bulb holder to PCB, and if down the line any bad connections do appear you can just take them apart to clean things up.

We ran out of stock for a while, however have just commissioned a run of PCBs to bring these back into the green - and we're offering them for the all-time low price of £14.99 until the 10th October.

Another much-needed part brought back from 'the dead'

Hi Mat if I get one how do I fit into the plastic surround? Is it obvious after the black sticky is removed or more to it? I will be fitting a replacement plinth and would like new innards but unsure of fitment.

Hi Dawn, it's pretty simple with the bits and pieces in front of you - the old PCB is riveted to the plastic so needs a bit of force to remove. The new one simply sits in its place, but you need a dab of glue to hold it in place.
