Rust
I noticed some bubbling at the rear of the offside sill on my car.
when i started to rub it down to treat it a few small holes appeared in a 2" area. On prodding with a screwdriver the inner seems strong. So it will have to be welded but i cannot seem to find anywhere where you can buy a whole or part sill.. Any clues as to where i can get one ? Thanks in advance for any guidance. |

Done the sills on my own car and it's not much fun. No new sills or part available other than the Polish ones which seem more trouble than they're worth.
Try contacting this guy, http://www.tjhobbs.com/contact.html comes highly recommended and is worth the journey. Regards |

What do you think that 2" hole cost to repair?

Not sure. Once poked my old 75 had huge sections at the back of the sills that needed cutting out and replacing. Tom charged £100 a side to cut out and make new by hand. He's so good Marinabrian and Trikey use him all that way away. ☺

Mine looked that way, but when investigated both were as bad. There is padding in the sill that holds water. Tom removes it.
