RIP Freddie.

A nicer fella you'd be hard pushed to meet I reckon.

His cars were a credit to him and I suspect his garden would too, as he always seemed to be working out there.

In tribute, here is a link to a film that Freddie made and shot with his camera about his Rover 75 and someone, a relative maybe, shot several clips of Freddie driving. He sent the film out to me in Kenya so that I could put it together. He enjoyed the film and tracks immensely.....https://vimeo.com/111212724

Unhappy R.I.P freddie

I am totally gutted

Thanks to those who made me aware,.

I will be in touch with freddie's wife by card to alowing the family time and offer anything needed (Not that it will or bring him back)

He was like a dad to me, only one that knew a lot about cars

Not to mention a true Gent that would help anyone out before thinking about himself

This is terrible news

Well what an absolute shocker

I met Fred at POL four years back, and what a complete and utter gent.

Such a shame, it's always the nice ones that go too soon.

Please extend both mine and Chris's condolences to his family.

RIP old chap

I am in shock,Freddie was the first club member I met after I joined the club, nothing was too much for Freddie,he was always willing to help when needed and was a true gent, one of the last of our generation.

Freddie was Mr Rover of Norwich,a lovely man and someone who I am proud to have been his friend.

My condolences to Sandra and his family ,we have had a good man, taken from us all too soon

"Freddie if you are looking down on us,from the great garage in the sky, thanks for the great times we have shared"

Rest in Peace my friend
