Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

No it was from a Thames Television Christmas tape. I did work experience on Rainbow back in 1989 where they let me operate a camera for a few scenes. It was in studio 3 at Teddington Studios.

They all seemed to get on like a house on fire to me, Roy Skelton who did the voices of George and Zippy (as well as the Daleks on Dr.Who) was fascinating to watch. He sat in the corner of the studio behind two sound proof screens with a microphone, script, TV monitor and a large cigar, and often had conversations with himself as he performed both puppet voices at the same time on the fly!

Geoffrey Hayes, fell on hard times after Thames lost the franchise and stopped producing the programme. He couldn’t get any tv work and famously ended up stacking selves in the Tesco’s in Teddington I seem to remember.

Perhaps that's why Zippy has remained tight lipped

No... never transmitted
It was the farewell episode made by the cast just before they dismantled the set for the last time.... how they kept a straight face throughout the one take shoot I will never know...
