You'll never guess what.... Pedal went to the floor on the way to wok this morning. Double clutching to find gears now. Looks like the slave has gone...... have to look tonight. |

grey fluff
Hi in my experience the grey fluff is clutch dust what happens is the dust works its way past the seals in the slave cylinder then the save starts to leak hence you need a new slave mutcho expense there is no seal to stop the dust getting in unlike most brake clyinders have a seal sorry

That makes sense, Andrew. Sorry to hear your news, klm. I know the feeling regarding the double declutching! I had absolutely no pedal so basically had to stick it in second, start the engine and pick up the throttle and find a parking area to avoid holding up the traffic.

I just looked my my old master and found this fluff, so 100% it means slave has gone...
