Brake Disc Question
Do the Rover 75's and MG ZT-T diesels have the same front and rear brake discs?
I have been looking for replacements which will be required in the next few months and most of the ads are very confusing. Some state "Rover 75", some "MG ZT-T" and some "Rover 75/MG ZT-T" !!! Which is it, or is it more complicated than that? Mick |

Brakes on all models 75 and MG are the same except 190s have a larger front disc. The V8s are different again I believe.

The Haynes Manual doesn't differentiate between 75s and ZTs other than to indicate the larger size of the ZT190 fronts, as GG states above. Other than that, all 4 and 6-cylinder models, petrol or diesel, have identical brakes. Retailers selling 'MGZT' as distict from 'Rover 75' parts are simply marketing them in different ways.

Ive just changed the rear discs on my tourer and they are vented, apparently saloons are solid.

Strange, rear discs are generally solid on the 75 Tourer.
