Isle of Wight has gone from 1 to 4 in a couple of weeks,so it shows the Tier system is ,why not just lock us all down until this virus is defeated, and make the rules less complicated ie in Tier 4
"Do not go out unless you have a reasonable excuse" Travelling to go fishing is a reasonable excuse ,the mind boggles

T4 here from 24.00 tonight. I understand why in England, the NHS and the Funeral/Crematoria must be helped to function as best as possible. Despite views to the contrary there is a consequence to this pandemic. It is heartbreaking to hear of how medical and burial/crematoria facilities in other countries have been overwhelmed and family have been left to live and wait for help with the corpses of their loved ones. Yes, people die every day. But come on, the scale of this across the globe is by no means normal to fit with conspiracy. Surely?

People still met in groups, other than pre-Christmas panic combined with the Brexit deadline panic there have been no queues outside shops but inside was a different matter - with most checkouts closed for social distancing the queues for the few checkouts still open was maybe 10 or 15 deep. Also there is still a sizeable proportion of people without face coverings or wearing chin masks. It’s not surprising that the virus is escalating if people won’t obey the rules! |

The north east has been moved into tier 4, in order that our underwhelmed NHS services can be put on standby for benefit of the occupants of the overcrowded southern regions of the country, parts of the country I hasten to add have been allowed to operate under less draconian restrictions in tiers 1 and 2 and as a result have now apparently as a result of this now run out of hospital capacity.
What beggars belief is the most populous city in the country, with the greatest throughput of people from all manner of places around the globe could be allowed to operate under less strict restrictions than other parts of the UK. It's a joke, there is going to be nothing left worth worrying about once this is over, if it is ever going to end, somebody needs to have the balls to take responsibility for the wanton destruction of our country. It's not a conspiracy ladies and gentlemen, it's a travesty and anyone attempting to compare this debacle to anything that has gone previously is deluding both themselves, and attempting to do the same to others. We have been asked around to the neighbours tomorrow evening, I explained to them that it is not allowed as we are tier 4 but they seem to think it doesn't matter for some reason . Is it me? We wont be going.
Hopefully once people start seeing the figures from today it might bring it home but I doubt it. The wife's daughter has said she is not putting her life on hold any longer, she is apparently bored with all this so is going to ''enjoy her self''. |
