In my opinion the only thing a Micra is good for is throwing at caravans. Jeremy Clarkson style. But we are getting off topic now. I've been thinking of a LPG conversion. If I end up having to commute to my new job (When I get one) I'll probably do that or buy a second Rover 75 (Diesel)

Hi,
I am running LPG on my 2.5 V6 and getting a regular 320 miles on 62 litres of gas, ignoring the start up on petrol of course. Better now the weather is warmer! I am paying 41p per litre and I am running about 1350 miles per month Mine is running a bit rough at the moment and the next investigation is the VIS motors, I have already changed all 6 coil packs with no appreciable improvement, bigger leads (10mm) and new plugs and the front Lambda sensor. Missed you at Cosford, Stevemac, didn't see another LPG except for Bernard who I didn't get to talk to. Spent too much time in the museum! Mine was the Le Mans Green ZTT. |

Recent trip to France, very mixed driving, worked out at 9.7 pence per mile. Auto box, Air-con on, scary average speed of only 32.2 mph.

You cannot rely on the pull from the auto box alone. The right pedal needs to be depressed..

Seriously, average speed as calculated is surprisingly low, even for a one time maths student. |
