Question Glove box lower cover.

Before i do any damage, can someone confirm the 2 pins at the back end of the cover are just pushed in and only need a good tug to get out.

If you mean the fuse box cover under the glove box
they are fitted over a thread so should unscrew. They aren't tight.
Mine are only finger tight.

Mine have slots in them and I just use a coin to turn them.

Well finally done what I set out to do,hard wired my camera with arctic how to. Did not get lower cover off which made it a little more difficult, judging by the state of the screw heads whoever had it off last time had trouble also. I think they were put back cross thread. Never mind camera now working off key👍

The bottom cover under the glove box on mine only has turnbuckle’s fitted. Easy enough to do with a coin in emergency.

The 2 at the front were easy as you said, but i failed to undo the 2 at the back. I removed glove box completely, which was easy enough. This also made it easier to run camera cable through.

Hi John.
Two small thin screw drivers would of helped, or to spike bradawls, these can be wound off or even prised off, the choice would be with the person doing the job.
