Cool

Morning from "no rain yet" Saltash.

Out again last night for a Birthday dinner, Allen's other 'alf Val's.

Allen drove so I could have a cider. New one out made by Thatchers called Rose, made from sweet Red apples. Mmmm!!! Tasty, but too sweet for me.

Off to pay my respects, taking Zed the Ted, down at the Remembrance parade in the square.

Good morning Steve, I am sorry to hear about your back. Do take care of yourself. Good morning Bob, your plans for Remembrance Sunday prompted me to post up a few pictures of Derek aka Windrush RIP How handsome and proud Derek was leading the way.....

Afternoon all, It's been sunny with clear blue skies all day but there's been no warmth in that sunshine, even colder now that it's setting.
Adventurous tea tonight! I've made some chilli con carni, I was going to make some garlic bread to go with it but no garlic, the cupboards are getting bare so it'll be shopping day tomorrow.

Cooked a big lump of roast pork last night, more than enough for tonight as well, do some of me roast potatoes (coated with minced garlic and herbs), Yorkshire puds, veg and gravy. Apple strudel and cream to follow . . . . have to wait til about 9pm though, be then before my other half gets home.

Oh Yum that sounds good Steve, I've got a joint of pork in the freezer but I'm waiting on some shopping ingredients as I want some to mince to use in Chinese dumplings I'm going to have a try at.

We had some of my other half's Filipino friends staying with us for the weekend a while ago. My other half got a huge (6 kilo) lump of pork belly/ribs at the Chinese supermarket but it was never used. Roasted half of it last night and my other half cut up and marinated the rest. Tell you one thing, it is tastier than the supermarket stuff.
