Sae much fer the flu jab then Steve, I have heard of several people refusing it as they end up WITh the flu or symptoms of it, instead of being immunised against it.

Loads of toffees left over from Halloween We had eight lots this evening. Today's toffees are not a patch on toffees from my childhood I have to say.

I just pulled the van diagonally across the drive to stop the bugggerrss getting in. Can't be bothered with them at normal times, but especially not with the current situation here.

I was clearing the frontage of the house of leaves and litter late this afternoon when one of a passing group of youths bade me a happy halloween. He asked if I would be partaking in it, I smiled and nodded and he said that they would call back later. Until that point in time the occasion had escaped my attention and I had nothing re preparation in hand. This was rectified after a visit to the local retail park and goodie bags were filled in readiness at a cost of ~ £1/bag, is this too much? All was ready and waiting from about 17.45 and ... not one knock on the door. All goodie bags still in the porch waiting forlornly.
