Default Hand out the donkey ears

Ok I’ve locked my sole key for my 2.5 Connie in the boot! Don’t ask. Any sensible suggestions as to how I might get in the car would be greatly appreciated. Have tried putting wire around the pull handle on the drivers door but the dead locks won’t let the door open and the central locking button on the centre console only sets off the alarm when pressed. Hoping not to have to go to the expense of a locksmith for my stupidity.

Does your car not have the electric boot release located just under the bonnet release lever? Unless you have the doors locked as well.?

order one of these at least it will open the driver's door. you can always get a new transponder and electrical gubbins at a later date:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-75-...IAAOSw42JZAbOl

I've got one and it works perfectly.

edit: received it within 3 days

As post above.--You can get in with just removing a small amount of boot trim with no other damage to your car.

Fairly quick and easy.---

Don't you need to have a pattern cut on it to match your car ????

His pattern is in the boot.---
