Rover 75 2.5 V6 ethanol conversition
Good evening ladies and gentlemen,
while China is building hundreds of new coal plants, Swedish politicians are in panic over emissions caused by commuters who run their cars on petrol. Thus, petrol and diesel taxes are soaring. In order to protect myself against that, I thought I'd convert my Rover to run on ethanol, which is taxed more moderately. Sulfate mucking down the injection system is no longer an issue, as new regulations came in 2010, limiting the content of that substance. Apart from having to change the oil more frequently, are there other things to worry about? Have any of you done this? Yours sincerely, Erik |

Hi Erik,
The knees are my signature it appears on the bottom of all my posts. If you read through Dorchester2 posts on his car he explains how he converts to using E85. It may be worth sending him a PM regarding E85 as it is a very long thread about what he has done to his car since he bought it. Sent from my LG-M200 using Tapatalk

How much cheaper is E85 where you are? I understand its pretty rare in the UK.
