Default what is the torque setting for

what is the torque setting for the 3 bolts that hold the engine top cover in place on a diesel? The three bolts are the ones that if the go in too far, I think create a bit of an oil leak
It must be low torque setting but I cant find it in the Haynes manual and want to make sure don't over tighten

thank you

When looking from the front the bolt on the left is the one that leaks if too long a bolt is used.
I do mine up with a 1/4" ratchet and put my hand over the head of the ratchet and just nip the bolts up.
Not answering your question but I don't know the torque figure either

Next question, how will you measure 9Nm?

Without access to rather expensive kit, you should use your judgement. 9Nm is a single hand nip using a 6" spanner/socket wrench.
