Default UFO in cabin, electrical contact, ditch or keep?

Have just finished (I hope) upgrading interior of 2003 tourer. Work carried out, Harmony changed for Symphony plus fitting of CD package.
Steering wheel changed today for wood/leather.

On tiding up found brass object (photos attached)lightly clipped under floor level trim of centre consul? Have gone over every aspect of work carried out cannot recall coming across this object? It has an R stamped on it, which could be Rover, or just Right, as in right/Left contact???
Size is 4cm height X 8mm wide material copper strip?

It may not even be car related although it is well constructed....all relevant replies appreciated, if no one recognises it ,over the side it goes!

Possibly the clip from the front of the heater carpet enclosure, they usually pop off if the enclosure is changed.

Well done Walter... I did say to my wife the only thing it might be is one of the spring clips from the radios!!!So by confirming that, you have put my mind at rest. However Symphony is securely fitted and working fine, so I will put strip away for a rainy day. Thank you so much for confirmation. Have a great Xmas and a Healthy New Year..

Surprisingly enough No! Fitting a Symphony in place of a Harmony is like a battle with nature, really tight fit!!!equally it might be one of the clips off the harmony which I will check tomorrow,,,,,no point about worrying over something that isn't causing any problems, is there?
