Mg7
Whilst we're waiting for pictures, I had a look on Google. There seems to be two versions of this car.
The first one looks like a mark 1 MG ZT with a Rover 75 interior: Then there is an updated one which looks like it has the premium Rover grille which has been the subject of some discussion on other threads: This second one also looks like a LWB car - but why have they used the Rover bumper / grille and then fitted an MG badge with a strange gap underneath? Again the chrome mirrors, serpents and the colour look more Rover 75 than MG ZT.

Roelof,
Although we can argue all day about your car having more 75 or ZT in it, I for one would like to say congratulations on getting your new MG7, the specification sounds fantastic and wheather it's more 75 or ZT like, who cares, it's fantastic!! In fact the spec. sounds similar to the Mk1 Connoisseur SE!! Can we see some pictures please as soon as possible!! Best regards, Paul PS, Just noticed tiptronic shift!! Cool, thats what we should have got, at least on the ZT's. Is it still the Jatco transmission? Last edited by Paulifa1; 8th November 2010 at 13:12.. |

The MG 7
Congratulations Roelof on your new acquisition.
Has anything been mentioned as to why they will not be marketing the MG 7 here in Australia? We drive on the left side of the road - Right Hand Drive _ same as China and the U.K. And with the burgeoning trade between China and Australia, and shorter freight distance / costs, I would have thought it would have appealed to them. |
