Press and hold the unlock button to open the boot on facelift cars, pre-facelift cars with memory seats, it moved the seat to the position programmed to that key.

Thanks for that tip - I'll try that tomorrow. I have been unlocking the car, opening the driver's door and then pressing the little boot release button. Press and hold on the remote sounds much easier

Default Another project drive deletion?

I'm new to this Owners club so forgive me if I've got this wrong.

This is the second Tourer I've had and my latest is post project drive car. I have noticed that on my Y plate tourer there was a piece of plastic trim between the fog lamps. On my latest Tourer, a 03 plate it has been replaced by a thin piece of plastic trim running between the fog lamps doing away with the plastic dummy grille. I have sourced another plastic grill to replace the strip of plastic, if I can get it off! May be this is in your thread but I couldn't find it?

Going back to an earlier post regarding handbook wallets - I hated the nasty clear plastc cover for my handbook so I thought that I would see if I could find something better. I found a nice black leather/vinyl wallet for the MGTF on ebay. It has the MG Octogon embossed in the corner and metal corner protectors. The ZT handbook fits perfectly, and the wallet has an air of quality to match the car.

I can't provide a picture at the moment for technical reason (lost the cable to connect my camera to the computer ! ) - however if you search ebay for item 290512870010 it will take you to it - actually its originally for the MGF not the TF as I originally posted.
