![]() I have it on both seats I think the Conn SE model did.
Not electric on Passenger side though. If it cannot be be after fitted, look out for a seat at Breakers etc. |

![]() Lumber support was on a 2000 Club that I used to drive (cloth covered seats) and both my 2001 and 2002 Conn SE's. Although the Conn SE's have electric seats the lumbar adjustment is manual by wheel on side.
Conn and Conn SE's will always have leather electric seats unless special order cloth covered seats were fitted. |

![]() Before you go to the trouble and expense of fitting lumbar support to the passenger seat, are you sure that this will help your wifes lower back problem? I say this from experience as my wife also suffers lower back problems and lumbar support doesn't really help.
Her lower back problem is caused by the seating position in general. The most comfortable position for her to sit in for any length of time is as though she was at the dining table, ie. knees at right angles and the entire backs of her legs on the seat. This spreads the upper body weight evenly along the legs and takes any pressure off the base of the spine. The most uncomfortable position is sat as though in an F1 car, ie legs stretched out in front. The problem with this position is that the entire upper body weight is now pressed soley on the base of the spine and after 30 minutes of so causes back ache. This is why when I replaced my ZT I specifically bought a car with Passenger seat height adjustment. It may be worth looking into this, as fitting a passenger seat height adjuster might be better for your wife than fitting lumbar support. Or a cheaper option would be to give her a cushion to sit on and see if it helps. Cheers Iain Last edited by iaint; 3rd October 2007 at 10:30.. |
