I agree that this is a great place for generous helpful folk. Trikey recently helped me out with some bits that just aren't available where I live.
There's nothing more frustrating than in intermittent electrical fault! Try wiggling the wires with the switch in place and the engine running and see if the problem recurs. That may help narrow it down.

sorry to hear of your troubles FLYING BANANA but what does the inertia switch do exactly?..and is there one on all our cars?

Inertia switch have been on cars for many years. They cut the fuel supply pump in the case of a hard knock ie accident.
They may disable other systems too but fuel supply is the main one. |
