Dead CD Changer
My 2004 Contemporary has the CR80 and a boot mounted CD Changer.
Last weekend the CD changer would not eject the CD cartridge - on checking the modes on the head unit, the CD Changer is no longer recognised by the radio, just cycling through Tuner & Cassette. I've removed the radio & checked the connections - all seems OK. Any suggestions on how to get the CD changer working again?

Not much in the way of help but my CR80 did/does exactly the same in that it will not recognise the CD changer. I ended up changing it for a more modern set up. Still have the CR80 though, and a whole lot of tapes needing dusted off.

I stripped out the CD player and opened it up. Water had clearly been getting in, with signs of corrosion on the wiring.
Getting the CD trays out required a full strip down of the player. The remains are now scrap!

That's a very kind offer, however I'm probably going to replace the original radio with an Android head unit. My main concern was getting the CD's out of the changer, which I finally managed after destroying the CD changer.
